Dorothy Hamm Black, age 85 of Kennewick, Washington passed away on September 10, 2008. She
was born on January 9, 1923 in Selma, Alabama and lived in Winfield, Alabama until 2002 when she
moved to Kennewick, Washington. She was a retired Assistant V.P. of Winfield State Bank. She was
a member of West Highland Methodist Church in Kennewick. Dorothy is survived by her son, Julius W.
(Buddy) (Pam) Black of Kennewick.  Grandchildren Chris (Mary) Bellevue, WA., Barron (Cheri) Black
of Kennewick, WA., Braden McKechnie, Robby Rafuse, and Renee (Jeremy) Ray of Huntsville,
Alabama, Brad (Rachel) Wearstler of Bend, OR., and Zachary (Sarah) Wearstler, also of Kennewick,
WA. Great Grandchildren include Carter, Macy and Fisher Black of Bellevue, WA., Samuel, Noah,
Grace and Olivia Black of Kennewick, WA., Cyrus and Theo Wearstler of Bend, OR., and Dayton
Wearstler of Kennewick, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Julius C. (Big Buddy) and Clemmie Mae Lee Hamm, as
well as her daughter Cathy and husband Rastus.

There will be a private family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you
make a donation to the United Methodist Children's Home in Selma, Alabama or to a charity of your
choice.
